With a motto of educating the local people about the rich biodiversity and its uniqueness in the world: there by motivating them to conserve the nature and its ecosystem, this Academy took its birth in Sirsi. Canara Green Academy is registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act 1960, vide lr. No. DR/SOR/131/2005-06 dated 6-10-2005.
